About

Neil Blundell is Global Head of Client Solutions Development for the Invesco Investment Solutions team, which develops and manages customized multi-asset investment strategies. Neil leads the engagement effort with Invesco's largest institutional and retail clients to formulate outcome-oriented investment solutions tailored to client specific dimensions.

Prior to joining Invesco in 2017, Neil served as a managing director and alternatives platform head within the institutional client business at BlackRock, where he was responsible for the development and distribution strategy across $125 billion in real asset, private equity, hedge fund and liquid alternatives strategies globally. Previously, Neil was head of hedge fund investment strategies, focused on developing, enhancing and acquiring long and short investment capabilities for the firm's $30+ billion direct multi-strategy hedge fund platform. Neil joined BlackRock in 2006 as a vice president and lead investment strategist responsible for long/short equity, macro and commodity strategies and later became a portfolio manager for a global equity market neutral hedge fund.

Prior to BlackRock, Neil worked at MSCI Barra, where he consulted with hedge funds on portfolio construction and risk management. Earlier in his career, Neil worked in debt origination within the capital markets group at Credit Suisse First Boston. He began his career in 1998 in product strategy at Moody's Investor Service.

Neil earned a BA degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Miami. He holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations.
