Fraud and scams are global threats, increasingly fueled by technology and operating across borders with growing sophistication and scale.

Frauds may be perpetrated through fake financial promotions and advertisements. Scammers may use the names of genuine firms such as Invesco, or similar name variations to give a false impression of legitimacy or with high returns.

Invesco’s communication policy

For your security, we never request, share, or send information related to accounts, transactions, or any sensitive business or personal details via WhatsApp or other messaging apps. Any communication that references the above and claims to be from or associated with Invesco is fraudulent. 

Invesco won't act upon instructions, received by email, to change your personal details. Forms for changing details on your account can be found on our website. Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 085 8677 and we'll send the forms out to you.

Important information regarding investment scammers alleging links to Invesco

We are aware of ongoing scams targeting the Invesco brand across different jurisdictions. These scams often misuse the company name, products and employees in an attempt to legitimize the scam. Be vigilant to unsolicited direct approaches from individuals claiming to be from Invesco.

If you have been contacted

If you think you have received suspicious communication from someone claiming to be from Invesco, we would urge you to exercise extreme caution and not to respond to the fraudsters in any way. We recommend you report the approach to the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768 or email consumer.queries@fca.org.uk.

If you think you may have made a payment linked to a scam, please contact your bank immediately. We also recommend that you report the contact to Report Fraud (the national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre) on 0300 123 2040 or through their website.
