Chang Hwan Sung is a Portfolio Manager for the Invesco Solutions team, based in Hong Kong. This group develops and manages asset allocation strategies and comprehensive portfolio solutions across institutional and private client channels. In this role, his responsibilities focus on research and asset allocation involving Asian asset classes and management of multi-asset portfolios for Asian clients.
Mr. Sung joined Invesco in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he was head of quantitative investments at Samsung Asset Management (HK). Before that, he was director and portfolio manager for Asian quantitative equities at BlackRock, based in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Mr. Sung has been in the industry since 2006.
Mr. Sung earned a BS degree from Seoul National University and an MS in financial mathematics and a PhD in management science and engineering from Stanford University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.
