Viorel Roscovan
Viorel Roscovan is a Director of Quant Research and Portfolio Manager with Invesco Quantitative Strategies. He was previously a Portfolio Manager and Senior Researcher at Robeco. Prior to joining Robeco in May 2015, Dr. Roscovan was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Rotterdam School of Management from 2008 to 2014 where he specialized in theoretical and empirical asset pricing research. Dr. Roscovan was awarded the Young Talent Fellowship from Erasmus Research Institute of Management and won the Best Professor Award in 2013 and 2014 for his Macroeconomics course. In 2007, he was awarded the prestigious Lamfalussy Fellowship from the European Central Bank. He has published his academic work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at top finance conferences.
Dr. Roscovan holds a PhD in Finance from Tilburg University, a Master's in Finance from the same institution, and a Master's in Economics from CERGE-EI.
