Important Information

  • Wherever possible we seek to enhance and expand the monitoring, measuring and reporting of our GHG emissions. Data may be updated, over time, as more accurate data becomes available.

  • 1

In 2021, the PRI reporting cycle was delayed, and currently PRI expects to publicly release signatories’ 2021 outputs in mid-2022.

  • 2

    U.S. only numbers.

  • 3

Employees who have not indicated their gender.

  • 4

2019 was Annual Employee Engagement surveys; 2020 forward transitioned to periodic pulse surveys.

  • 5

GHG emissions and other environmental information reported in this table represents data for entities under operational control of Invesco. The definition of operational control is consistent with that used by the GHG Protocol; a company has operational control over an operation if the former or one of its subsidiaries has the full authority to introduce and implement its operating polices at the operation.

  • 6

    MWh=megawatt hour.

  • 7

tCO2e=metric ton of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent.

  • 8

According to the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance, a location-based method reflects the average emissions intensity of grids on which energy consumption occurs (using mostly grid-average emission factor data). A market-based method reflects emissions from electricity that companies have purposefully chosen (or their lack of choice). It derives emissions factors from contractual instruments, which include any type of contract between two parties for the sale and purchase of energy, bundled with attributes about the energy generation, or for unbundled attribute claims.

  • 9

This category includes all Scope 3 categories. For more information, please reference the Environmental Stewardship section.

  • 10

Only employees at ISO 14001 certified facilities are included in this calculation, so the denominator only includes 76 percent of employees.

  • 11

Data as of March 2022, unless otherwise stated. Invesco reserves the right to update its measurement techniques and methodologies in the future, as more accurate data becomes available.

  • 12

Invesco will report environmental data from a 2019 baseline, moving forward, in alignment with our science-based reduction targets at our corporate properties.

  • 13

Due to improved data accuracy, 2020 data has been updated from previous, publically reported data.
