Ronney Cheung is a Senior Fund Manager and is responsible for managing Invesco’s China equity strategies.

Ronney has close to 20 years of investment experience, specializing in Greater China equities. Prior to joining Invesco in 2026, she spent more than 10 years at Samsung Asset Management Hong Kong, of which six years were spent managing Greater China equities, focusing on Institutional, Pension and Retail mandates in Korea, and four years as an analyst covering the Real Estate and Financial sectors.

Before moving to the buy side, Ronney spent eight years as a sell-side analyst covering the China/Hong Kong property sector at various investment banks, including BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, and Samsung Securities. She started her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ronney graduated from Macquarie University in Australia with a double degree in Bachelor of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and CPA Australia.
