Mr Dampier was appointed to the Board of Invesco Global Equity Income Trust, 23 April 2021 and joined from Invesco Income Growth Trust plc, of which he had been a director since 1 March 2016. He was, until August 2020, Head of Investment Research at Hargreaves Lansdown, a position he had held since 1998. He has over 30 years’ experience in the fund management industry, including marketing investment trusts and unit trusts, has published a book on effective investing and is a leading commentator on the investment sector.
