Ron is Head of Private Debt for Invesco’s global private credit group and serves as lead portfolio manager for the firm’s direct lending capabilities. He is also a member of the group’s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Invesco, Ron was a Managing Director at Benefit Street Partners (BSP) where he established the firm’s direct lending origination network, focusing on private equity firms, intermediaries and middle market debt providers. Previously, Ron founded the U.S. Financial Sponsors/Leveraged Finance group at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), growing the platform into a market leader. At RBS, Ron also served as Head of U.S. Non-Core Bank responsible for developing the firm’s asset disposition strategies, negotiating portfolio exits, establishing valuation frameworks and regulatory compliance. Earlier in his career, Ron worked at Bank of America and Chase Manhattan Bank providing debt solutions to middle market companies and private equity firms.
Ron earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS degree in Business Administration from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
