Stephen J. Toy1
Stephen J. Toy is Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of WL Ross & Co. LLC and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Toy is actively involved in managing the Firm and is a member of the Management Committee. Mr. Toy currently serves on the board of directors for Amalgamated Bank, Compagnie Europeenne de Wagons, Permian Basin Materials LLC and Plascar Participacoes SA.
Mr. Toy was a founding member of WL Ross & Co. in 2000. From 1996 to 2000, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring Group of Rothschild Inc. and from 1994 to 1996 he worked in the Public Finance Group at O'Brien Partners Inc.
Mr. Toy graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1994 from the State University of New York at Albany.
Gregory A. Stoeckle1
Gregory A. Stoeckle is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of WL Ross & Co. LLC. He is actively involved in managing the Firm and is Chairman of the Management Committee. In addition, Mr. Stoeckle is also a member of WL Ross & Co.'s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining WL Ross & Co. LLC, Mr. Stoeckle was President & Managing Director of Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc.'s leveraged finance business, which he built from less than $1 billion in AUM when he joined in 1999 to $30 billion AUM in 2014. Prior to joining Invesco Senior Secured Management Inc. he had twelve years of banking and debt underwriting experience.
Mr. Stoeckle graduated from Ursinus College in 1987 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics /Economics and also has an M.B.A. in Finance from Saint Joseph's University.
James B. Lockhart III1
James B. Lockhart III is Vice Chairman of WL Ross & Co. LLC and member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee. His responsibilities include overseeing financial services portfolio companies and sourcing new opportunities in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining WL Ross & Co. in 2009, Mr. Lockhart served as the Director of Federal Housing Finance Agency and Chairman of its Oversight Board, and Director of its predecessor agency, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight. He also served on the Financial Stability Oversight Board, overseeing the TARP Program. Mr. Lockhart was The Deputy Commissioner and COO of the Social Security Administration and Executive Director of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Mr. Lockhart's private sector financial services experience includes senior positions at an investment bank, reinsurer, insurance broker, risk management firm and major oil company. He also served as an officer aboard a nuclear submarine.
Mr. Lockhart holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Yale University. Mr. Lockhart is a director of Virgin Money in the U.K., Bank of the Cascades, Capital Markets Cooperative, Situs Holdings and the Bruce Museum. In 2009, he received The American Financial Leadership Award from the Financial Services Roundtable. He is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers in the UK.
Nadim Z. Qureshi
Nadim Z. Qureshi is a Managing Director for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he heads private equity investments in the chemical and the industrial sectors.
Mr. Qureshi joined WL Ross & Co. in 2015. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Quinpario Partners, an investment and operating firm focused on the chemical and industrial sectors. Prior to this he led the corporate development and strategy functions at Solutia Inc. Mr. Qureshi was a member of the executive team that led the restructuring and transformation of Solutia from a bankrupt, commodity producer to a global, highly profitable specialty chemicals business until its sale to Eastman Chemical in 2012. Prior to Solutia, Mr. Qureshi was with Arthur D. Little and Charles River Associates where he advised large multinational chemical, industrial and private equity clients.
Mr. Qureshi earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Macromolecular Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He also earned his M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Qureshi currently serves on the Board of Directors for Nexeo Solutions "NASDAQ: NXEO," a large global chemical distributor, and Diamond S Shipping Group, Inc.
Wendy L. Teramoto1
Wendy L. Teramoto is a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee for WL Ross & Co. LLC. Ms. Teramoto focuses on private equity investments in the rail, shipping and natural resource industries. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Greenbrier Companies, Navigator Gas, Diamond S Shipping, and Nautical Bulk Holdings.
Ms. Teramoto joined WL Ross & Co. at its inception in April 2000. Prior to that, she worked in the restructuring advisory group at Rothschild Inc., which she joined in 1997.
Ms. Teramoto holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Paul L. Triggiani
Paul Triggiani leads the investment team for Invesco WLR Credit Partners' investment activities in special situations credit where he is focused on control and non-control distressed debt and credit opportunities.
Prior to joining WL Ross & Co., Mr. Triggiani was a Managing Director of H.I.G. Bayside Capital, where he focused on control and non-control distressed debt and credit opportunities. Prior to H.I.G. Bayside Capital, Mr. Triggiani was a Managing Director of Strategic Value Partners with responsibility for distressed and special situations investments in general industrials, oil & gas, building products, homebuilding, infrastructure, gaming and financials. While at Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Triggiani was co-head of U.S. corporate investments and was a member of the investment committee, which approved distressed for control and private equity investments. Prior to Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Triggiani was a Partner of Heartland Industrial Partners LP, a leveraged buyout firm focused on industrial companies. He began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment banker in the Corporate Finance and Real Estate departments.
Mr. Triggiani received a B.A. in English Literature from Northwestern University and a M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Stephen L. Johnson
Stephen Johnson is a member of the investment team for WL Ross and Invesco WLR Credit Partners. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing special situation and distressed investments. Mr. Johnson joined Invesco in 2007. Since then he has predominantly focused on investments in financial institutions in Europe and the United States, including helping banks with whom WL Ross has invested on various non-performing loan workout strategies.
Mr. Johnson is actively involved with the Boards of WL Ross & Co. portfolio companies, serving as a director at Insuratex, Director at Eurobank, and Chairman of NBNK. He is also a current Board Observer at Bank of Cyprus and Amalgamated Bank.
Mr. Johnson has more than 15 years of principal investing experience. Prior to joining WL Ross & Co., Mr. Johnson was responsible for sourcing and evaluating distressed investment opportunities at Ewing Management Group and prior to that worked at Wellspring Capital Management and at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., in the Global Industrials investment banking group.
Mr. Johnson holds a B.S. in Finance and minor in Economics from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California.
Patrick J. Machir
Patrick J. Machir is a Principal for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, Mr. Machir's responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating and executing distressed private equity investments across a range of industries. Mr. Machir currently serves on the board of directors of International Automotive Components Group and PB Materials Holdings, Inc. and is a member of the Investment Committee of Transportation Recovery Fund.
Mr. Machir joined WL Ross in 2006. From 1999 to 2004 he worked at Bear Stearns & Co., in the Investment Banking department as a member of the Leveraged Finance Group and in the High Yield Research department. Mr. Machir has been in the industry since 1999.
Mr. Machir earned a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Su Yeo is a Principal at WL Ross & Co LLC. Her responsibilities include sourcing, structuring, executing and managing investments across numerous industries for WL Ross & Co.
Prior to joining WL Ross & Co., Ms. Yeo spent more than 16 years at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers where she was involved in mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, principal investments and corporate workouts and restructurings globally.
Ms. Yeo holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business and a B.A in Economics from Bryn Mawr College.
Matthew G. Brooks
Matthew Brooks is a member of the investment team for Invesco WLR Credit Partners. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing distressed investment opportunities.
Mr. Brooks joined WL Ross & Co. in 2013. From 2011 to 2013, he was an Associate at Barclays Private Credit Partners, a private credit opportunity fund. From 2008 to 2011, he worked at Evercore Partners in the Restructuring Group. Mr. Brooks has been in the industry since 2007.
Mr. Brooks earned his B.A. in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
Denny Kim is a Vice President for WL Ross & Co. LLC. Mr. Kim is primarily responsible for investments in the financial services and real estate sectors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Talmer Bancorp, Inc.
Mr. Kim joined WL Ross & Co. in 2010. From 2004 to 2007, he was an Associate for J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC, a private equity firm focused exclusively on the financial services sector. From 2001 to 2004, he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Kim has been in the industry since 2001.
Mr. Kim earned his B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University, and his M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
David M. Koziol
David M. Koziol is a Vice President for WL Ross & Co. LLC. Mr. Koziol is primarily responsible for analyzing distressed opportunities for the firm's private equity strategies, including investments in the transportation and building materials sectors.
Mr. Koziol joined WL Ross & Co. in 2010. From 2007 to 2010, he was an Associate at Clearlake Capital Group, where he analyzed special situations and distressed investment opportunities. Prior to that, Mr. Koziol worked as an Analyst in the Restructuring Group at Lazard. Mr. Koziol has been in the industry since 2003.
Mr. Koziol received a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University.
William W. Morton, Jr.
William Morton, Jr. is a member of the investment team for WL Ross and Invesco WLR Credit Partners. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing and business development with respect to distressed investment opportunities.
Mr. Morton joined WL Ross & Co. in 2003. From 1999 to 2003, he was a Partner at Sycamore Management Corp., a growth equity and venture capital fund manager focused on the U.S., China and India, where he focused on deal sourcing, closing, monitoring and exiting for the U.S. and China funds.
From 1997 to 1998, he was at Ares Management, L.P., a market value leveraged investment fund, where he focused on mezzanine and high yield investing. From 1991 to 1994, he was at Citicorp Venture Capital, Ltd., a private equity fund. Mr. Morton has been in the industry since 1991.
Mr. Morton earned his B.A. in history cum laude from Yale College in 1991 and his J.D. with honors from Columbia University School of Law in 1997. He is a member of the New York Bar Association.
Nathan A. Taylor
Nathan A. Taylor is a Vice President for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he supports the firm's efforts originating and monitoring private equity investments.
Mr. Taylor joined WL Ross & Co. in 2013. From 2010 to 2012, he was an Associate for Prospect Capital Management, a private equity and mezzanine debt investment firm. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Taylor worked in the mergers and acquisitions advisory practice of Lazard. Mr. Taylor has been in the industry since 2008.
Mr. Taylor received an A.B. in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard College.
Jie Zheng is a Vice President for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he analyzes potential investment opportunities in various industries.
Mr. Zheng joined WL Ross & Co. in 2009. From 2003 to 2009, he was an Associate for Fore Research & Management, where he focused on credit and fundamental research. From 1998 to 2001, he was a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager for the Asset Management Division of Everbright Securities in China, where he focused on investing in domestic equity market. Mr. Zheng has been in the industry since 1998.
Mr. Zheng earned his B.S. in Thermal Power Machinery and Installation and M.S. in Economics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and his M.B.A. in Analytical Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago. He is a CFA Charterholder.
David A. Arumala
David A. Arumala is a Senior Associate for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he is primarily responsible for evaluating and analyzing distressed private equity opportunities.
Mr. Arumala joined WL Ross & Co. in 2013. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions practices of J.P. Morgan and Barclays. Mr. Arumala has been in the industry since 2010.
Mr. Arumala holds a B.S. in Finance, magna cum laude, from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Samuel Chen is a Senior Associate for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he is responsible for analyzing and executing distressed private equity transactions and distressed credit investments.
Mr. Chen joined WL Ross & Co. in 2012. From 2011 to 2012, he was an Analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring Group. Mr. Chen has been in the industry since 2011.
Mr. Chen earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Columbia University, magna cum laude.
Ben Morrow is an Associate for WL Ross & Co. LLC. In this role, he is responsible for analyzing and executing distressed private equity investments and performing distressed investment research.
Mr. Morrow joined WL Ross & Co. in 2014. From 2012 to 2014, he was an Analyst in the mergers and acquisitions advisory practice of Lazard. Mr. Morrow has been in the industry since 2012.

Conor McGrath is an Analyst on the investment team for Invesco WLR Credit Partners. In this role, he is responsible for analyzing and executing distressed investment opportunities.
Mr. McGrath joined Invesco in 2016. Prior to joining Invesco, he was an Analyst in the generalist investment banking group of Moelis & Company. He has been in the industry since 2015.
Mr. McGrath earned his B.S. in Mathematics at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Giang Nguyen is an Analyst on the investment team for WL Ross and Invesco Credit Partners. In this role, she is responsible for analyzing and executing distressed investment opportunities.
Ms. Nguyen joined WL Ross & Co. in 2015. From 2013 to 2015, she was an Analyst in the Healthcare investment banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She has been in the industry since 2013.
Ms. Nguyen earned her B.A. in Mathematics and Economics, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Smith College.
