Focus List Mutual Funds
This list includes funds from preferred fund families and select other fund families that are recommended for an individual investor's portfolio. Eligible funds are now given a Tier I or Tier II rating by Edward Jones, which are defined as follows:
Tier I: Funds with an attractive investment approach that are expected to perform above their peers over a market cycle. Tier I funds are recommended when constructing a portfolio or when adding funds to an existing portfolio.
Tier II: Funds with an appropriate investment approach that are expected to perform slightly above or slightly below peers over a market cycle. Tier II funds are recommended after first considering Tier I funds when constructing a portfolio or adding funds to an existing portfolio, and to help clients achieve breakpoints.
